The Alabama Mentorship-Hub is a state initiative between MSAN and the Military Stability Foundation to bring peer-to-peer mentorship 24/7 to milspouses already living in or moving to the state, to include National Guard and Reserves spouses. It serves as a bridge for a variety of resources and everything inside the Alabama HUB is specific to spouses in Alabama to include: the topic sections, the groups, courses, events, and the volunteers.

Alabama’s 1st Purple Star Schools Announced

The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a real commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. Schools that earn this award receive a special Purple Star recognition to display on site.

53 awards for Purple Star School designations have been approved. This includes 12 high schools, 11 middle schools, and 30 elementary schools statewide. (Stay tuned for a complete linked list from the Alabama Department of Education!)
