A military spouse with over 21 years of military life experience, including 7 wartime deployments and 9 PCS moves, Jennifer is focused on leading, mentoring, and supporting military spouses and families.

Alabama Mentorship-HUB

The Alabama Mentorship-Hub is a state initiative between MSAN and the Military Stability Foundation to bring peer-to-peer mentorship 24/7 to milspouses already living in or moving to the state, including National Guard and Reserves spouses. It serves as a bridge for a variety of resources and everything inside the Alabama HUB is specific to spouses in Alabama including the topic sections, the groups, courses, events, and the volunteers.

License Recognition

The Heroes Welcome Initiative is committed to streamlining license and credentialing information for active-duty military, spouses, and Veterans, to help you identify rapid pathways into the workforce in Alabama.

We have consolidated the POC for all 48 Licensing Boards, and continue to join national compacts to ease the workforce transition for military spouses moving to Alabama.

Purple Star Schools

Alabama is committed to supporting our military-connected students and families.

Many of our schools and districts already have the Purple Star designation, highlighting their understanding of challenges faced by military families and ways they help mitigate those challenges.
